Every so often an American car company takes their best performance engine and makes it available in a spacious full-size vehicle. The result is an instant classic that always gets to share the sporty fun with family and friends – especially when it's available at a price as obtainable as this one. These cars were classics from day one. In fact, the once their short 1994-96 production run ended, these Impala SS sedans commanded a premium price. That's because no other car company was putting this much power and boldness into a full size-sedan. So many enthusiasts have cherished these over the years, and here's a prime example. It has been a Tampa car all its life. This one is nearly ready for collector car plates, and yet the Dark Green Gray Metallic possibly looks original to the car. It has not only survived, but it still gives plenty of gloss and shine when the sunlight catches the clearcoat paint. And Chevy really did a great job of giving the Caprice some cool attitude when creating the unique Impala SS. The bumpers, badges, and subtle spoiler blend so well with their body-colored presence. And of course, everyone loves to see those correct 17-inch alloys with Impala center cap filling the wheel wells. Inside is the true treat for Impala fans. The gray leather is luxurious, and the GM B-body offers serious room for family and friends to spread out. You can easily keep all of them happy because this is loaded with features like power windows, power locks, cruise control, power mirrors, a powerful AM/FM/cassette stereo, and ice-cold air conditioning. There's even the modern safety of dual airbags and anti-lock brakes. But even when it's just you, this Impala is a great machine. The front bucket seats power adjust so you can get the perfect driving position. The tilt wheel and center console mean your arms are never fatigued. Plus, there is a very good reason that the speedometer is a digital gauge, just like the Corvettes of the era. The Impala SS is a true legend thanks to the Corvette's LT1 V8. It's a special motor to have in this full-size sedan, and so we are glad to see it completely stock. The fuel-injected V8 barks to life easily, idles smoothly, and it pulls like a freight train. The four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive is smooth and always seems to be ready to leap into action. The suspension has been upgraded over the Caprice to handle the extra power with ease, and it comes with power steering, sway bars, and four-wheel disc brakes. Complete with maintenance records and owner's manual, rarely is such a cherished modern classic this affordable. So you know you need to hurry to grab this deal. This 1995 Chevrolet Impala SS was special when it was new, but it has only been in the fullness of time that we've learned just how special. As the last rear-wheel-drive, body on frame sedan built by GM, it does hold a place of distinction. But add in a Corvette-sourced LT1 under the hood, an athletic suspension, and that distinctive monochromatic paint job, and you have a slam-dunk of a collector car that STILL sells for close to sticker price 20 years after it went out of production. Special? You'd better believe it. It's probably safe to assume that the guys who bought these cars new realized that they were buying a piece of history. As a result, cars like this 49,676-mile 1995 example are often beautifully preserved. This Black Cherry example is 100% original, with no accidents or panel replacements, and the finish is amazingly well preserved. Credit the car's wonderful condition to clean living with an owner who never used it as a daily driver. Black Cherry is arguably the most desirable Impala SS color and aside from a few signs of age that could be erased with a proper buff, it's in awesome shape. Heck, there are barely any marks on the nose, which often takes a brunt of the abuse. Even the blacked-out grille is in great shape, the chin spoiler doesn't show many scuffs from driveway aprons, and all the Impala emblems are factory original. Impressive. The only interior available with the Impala was gray leather with buckets and a console. This one shows only minor signs of use, certainly in line with the mileage, and the leather remains supple and smooth. The back seat still looks brand new, and if there have been more than a handful of passengers back there over the past 20 years, it would be a surprise. The gauges are 100% functional, and it even retains the original Delco AM/FM/CD stereo. The carpets show a little discoloration, but again, nothing that seems out of line for its age and mileage and it would be a mistake to do anything but give them a good cleaning. Of course, everything was included with the SS such as A/C, power windows and locks, and cruise control. And as the last of the full-sized sedans, the trunk is positively massive, still carrying its original spare and an unmarked liner. Power comes from GM's indestructible 5.7 liter LT1 V8, which makes 260 horsepower in the Impala. Mated to a 4-speed automatic, it's the same powertrain that struck fear into the hearts of motorists when it lived inside black and white police cruisers. Properly maintained from new, the engine bay looks fresh off the showroom floor, and drives like it should. And unlike many Impalas, this one has not been modified in any way except for a pair of Flowmaster mufflers out back that sound pretty darned wicked. The largely stock condition also suggests that this one has been gently driven and never abused, and it drives like a much younger car. 4-wheel discs were included, as well as a heavy-duty suspension, giving the Impala moves that belie its size and comfort. Four 255/50/17 performance radials have been fitted to the gorgeous 5-spoke alloys, making this car ready to rock immediately. The Impala SS is a rare machine, not just in terms of production, but in that it is a car that instantly created and destroyed a niche market, defined an entire market segment, and signaled the end of an era. That alone ensures collectability, but the fact that it is also a party to drive makes this one to own for yourself. Call today! It's got a radical look to it and this thing is fast! Check it out. Not sure where or how to start describing this vehicle. First impressions get people wondering. Second impressions keep them wondering. They might notice the aggressive stance to the chassis and wonder what lies beneath that custom body. Dressed in Black with a hood scoop outlined in silver with blue pinstripes, the look up front is super clean. There are no hood or fender lines breaking up the flow of the body. The spoiler reaches low to the ground with fog lights and ducts cut into it. An oval grill with horizontal bars allows air in for cooling and headlights blend smoothly into the fenders. The bed of this vehicle features road racing aero down low and custom cutouts on the leading and trailing edges of the wheel wells. A hard bed cover continues the silver with blue pinstripe treatment down the center. Lift it up and you will find a nice flat cargo area with extra stowage below a lift up panel. Open the door and you will find an interior from the Caprice wagon that the chassis is based on. The door panel has a black upper with a pull handle set in wood grain panel. The center section is gray with vertical stripes and is underlined by black which matches the carpeting in the car. The bucket seats echo the look with gray pleated seating surfaces edged by smooth black vinyl with SS embroidered into the headrests. There is a leather wrapped steering wheel mounted on a tilt column with cruise. A rectangular dash display has clearly visible gauges for the speedo and tach as well as fuel, oil, water and volt meters. Wood grain cuts across the center with controls mounted in it including those for the R134 A/C system and AM/FM radio. The black and gray center console has a nice armrest as well as the switches for the power windows and a shifter for the 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive that was sourced from a late model Camaro. Tilting the hood forward on this car is fun and dramatic. And, it exposes another nice piece of hardware borrowed from the Camaro. A 6.2-liter V8 that sits down in the engine bay rather nicely. There is a cold air intake, a black cover dressing out the intake manifold, and silver covers with Chevrolet in script dressing out the valve covers. Hooker headers flow back to a dual exhaust system with free flow mufflers. The substantial amount of power that engine makes is sent back through the 4-speed automatic that was sourced from the same car so everything works together nicely. A solid axle located by a trailing arm rear suspension with coil springs transfers all that power to the ground. Up front, a control arm suspension with coil springs and a stout sway bar keeps the car cornering flat and ventilated disc brakes haul it back down from speed when you decide to let the horses run. The rubber meets the road through 275/50R17s in the back and 225/50R17s up front mounted on American Racing wheels. You can go your own way with this custom sports truck. And you can do it quickly, because this thing is fast!! 1991 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Wagon 1991 Chevrolet Caprice Wagon - LOW, LOW MILES, ALL- ORIGINAL, DRIVE ANYWHERE !!

1991 Chevrolet CapriceVIN: 1G1BL83E6MW245385Listing Date: 2018/10/10
Price: $X,250.0Mileage: XX,452Location: Auburn,WA,USA

1991 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Wagon VIN: 1G1BL83E6MW245385 So, where else are you buying your minty, vintage GM Wagons anyway? Reluctantly, I'm posting this exceptional vehicle and offering a $500 credit to cover the cost of getting the car to it's next home, even if you fly, sail or drive here to the Seattle area. Guess that would also apply to a local buyer as well. Here's a little background on the rig: Way back in the summer of 2007 Mr. Tim M. of Auburn, WA negotiated the purchase of this nice Caprice from its local elderly original owner and drove it home to show his wife. The odometer read less than 44,000 actual miles on that day. As the years passed, he fussed over the Wagon, always giving it regular attention and maintenance. Today that same mileage counter reads just under 93,800 actual, accident-free miles and is backed up by the clean AutoCheck report included above in the Ebay Listing. If you’ve spent much time looking, I’m sure you’ll agree it’s virtually impossible to find another twenty-seven-year-old wagon in this remarkably great original shape as most were turned over to a teenage driver after Granddad bought a new car and then beaten to within an inch of their life. Take a minute to look over my listing photos. They clearly show this has definitely NOT been Junior’s Saturday night cruiser! Feel free to call me with questions or to discuss a sale before the auction ends. My name is Mark and my direct number is (206) 914-1173. There will likely be a few hundred more miles added by the end of the auction as I can't help but enjoy driving this rig before passing it along to the next caretaker. CONDITION: The exterior of our Caprice is in remarkably nice condition. It still be wears the original factory white paint (I’ve found only one small touch-up spot on a fender) with NO evidence of any accident repair. All the glass is good without cracks or chips. Rust? Please, this boulevard cruiser hates body rust and you’ll be hard pressed to find ANYTHING here to worry about (look at my pics of the underside and bottom of the doors). Yes, the Puget Sound area is famous for rain, but our winter roads are never salted. At most we’ll only have one or two days of light snow. Everyone panics and just stays home. Climb over, under and throughout this car - I know you’ll come up smiling! Mechanically the wagon feels good and strong. I’ve added several hundred miles over the past week and have fallen in love with the smooth, even handling and comfort. It’s never failed to start right up at the first crank each morning. As you would expect, the automatic transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears and has no slippage. All four tires have at least 75% remaining tread and are evenly worn. It’s still in the high 70’s as this description is being written and I’ve really appreciated the good-working air conditioning on my daily commutes! Last weekend it was even warmer. On a trip down to Portland and back the A/C kept my wife and I very comfortable. Both the power steering and brakes feel just fine to me with no fade or pulling to one side. All-in-all, I can’t can find fault with the way this Caprice runs or drives out. On the interior, the fabric seats both front and back are exceptionally good. Absolutely no tears, punctures or wear-through spots. Same goes for the immaculate headliner. The factory carpets are clean and have always been protected by original mats (still held in place up front with tiny snaps). If you’ve got kids (or, like me, grandkids) they’re going to immediately head for the rear-facing double seat! It’s easily accessed by swinging out the tailgate - like a door – instead of dropping it down to let them in. About the only negatives I can think to point out are the factory radio (it plays only through one front and one rear speaker, with very low volume) and the power windows. While all roll up and down, they want to move off-track at the bottom of their run and then sometimes get stuck. No problem if you only roll them half-way down or steady the glass as it moves. The power door locks, power driver’s seat and cruise control all function properly. PLEASE BID WITH CONFIDENCE and know that you are purchasing a nice car from a long-term, respected EBay seller. I want you to be happy with your purchase (and with me) and that’s the main goal! Please don’t be upset if I miss a minor flaw or you’re required to spend a small amount on some unforeseen problem! No used car is perfect. Having said that, I drive the Chevy daily on my commute and have every confidence this vehicle can do a long-distance roadtrip immediately. Because of the amount of money involved in buying a vehicle, we require that new EBay members or those with a feedback history of five or fewer transactions or ANY negative feedback call or email before placing a bid. If I don’t have this initial contact, your bid may be cancelled. The phone number to talk directly to me, as outlined above, is 206/914-1173. Please feel free to call any time during the auction. My name is MARK. TERMS OF SALE: Please check the photos over closely and call me with any questions BEFORE you place a bid! You’re encouraged to make an appointment to come by my Auburn, Washington warehouse and take the Caprice for a test drive. You’re also welcome to have a professional inspection done on the wagon. It’s being sold as-is, where-is with a free & clear Washington title. There are NO title brands for nasty negatives like salvage history, theft or flood damage to cause you concern! A Few Additional Terms and Conditions: Many of my past buyers from as far away as Alaska, Arizona, the Midwest, Canada, Florida, New York and even the Mexican Baja have flown in here to Seattle and then started a road trip home the same day in their purchase. While I have every confidence in the Caprice, it’s 27 years old and has earned the right to do short sprints over a full-blown triathlon. Shipping usually equals (or is cheaper) when all the ancillary costs are added in – and no flat tires to deal with in the middle of nowhere, either. If a road-trip home is the choice, I’m happy to meet you at Sea-Tac International arrival to hand you the keys. You’ll need to drop me off back in Auburn on your way out of town. The entire purchase price is due by cash (in-person only), a wire transfer or other certified funds within seven days of the auction closing. I can accept credit/debit cards but will need to first send an invoice from our card processor and ask that the 3.5% fee charged by them be added. Please remember you are bidding to buy, and I fully expect the winning bidder to fulfill their Ebay contract! You’re not bidding to hold or then come inspect and test-drive the vehicle later; as mentioned, you’re more than welcome to do this before the auction ends. If you do decide to have the Chevy shipped home, there are numerous vehicle transport companies to choose from. We ship vehicles regularly and I'd suggest you get bids from the transporters listed here on the Ebay site by pressing the “Shipping” tab found above this description section. I do have a local company many of our buyers have used for delivery all over the country and I’d be happy to get a COD bid from them after the auction is completed. The zip code for pick-up is 98002 (Auburn, Washington). The shipping of the vehicle and company chosen are the responsibility of the BUYER. The Caprice can be stored free of charge at my location for up to two weeks after the auction ends assuming full payment has been received. After that period storage is $20 per day.
